(Not) A Song About Incels
At first it may seem to promote an anti-incel agenda, however, the song then makes a narrative twist, in which it is revealed that the song was actually intended to mock anti-incel communities and their mentalities regarding incels.
The first part is sung by a stereotypical misogynistic incel forum user. This part of the song is intended to critique incels by arguing that their philosophy is contradictory or silly. In reality, incels don't have a philosophy, since "involuntary celibacy" is an objective life circumstance, like poverty, not a specific internet community. However, there are certain philosophies that are popular in internet incel communities, most notably the blackpill. This however is intentional from the narrator, to illustrate such ignorance by communities against incels who don't actually understand real incel ideas, not to reflect all ACTUAL beliefs.
The second part of the song is where the rug is pulled out from under the viewer, and it is revealed that the character who was allegedly an "incel", was actually an intentional strawman played by a Chad. The chad goes on to chadsplain to incels that all they have to do to ascend is to hit the gym. Jreg also states that he enjoys mocking incels in order to feel better about himself, and that he wishes harm upon incels. He also explains that instead of trying to help incels, many incels often are often pushed to ideologies such as the Blackpill due to a lack of love and respect by society. This part of the song is obviously meant to be sympathetic to incels, and to criticize the attitudes of anti-incel communities such as Inceltears.
Videos like these arguably could be made with the intent to spoon-feed communities like breadtube about the situation inceldom and how incels often are misunderstood and bullied by society for their loneliness.
Many Anti-Incels and Breadtubers often have been upset that Jrough has shown any sympathy towards incels, often arguing the false narrative that all incels are Blackpill psychopaths, and that any criticism of communities which fight against incels are therefore means he supports such violence.
Many Incels may unintentionally be stricken the wrong way due to how it allegedly perceives incels in the first act, and how such stereotypes often are made unironically by anti-incel communities and thus, incels may find it hard to tell if Jr. Greg actually believes such ideas of incels or is instead making fun of anti-incel mentalities.
- The opening line is supposed to expose a contradiction, because not sleeping with someone is the opposite of promiscuous ("whore-like") behavior. In reality, though, female promiscuity is often targeted toward only the most attractive men.
- This refers to the fact that blackpill-supporting incels often repeat the same tired arguments about how women are hypergamous, only care about looks, money, and status, and so on.
