By including this public figure on this wiki, we are not necessarily implying they are incel (involuntarily celibate) or are in any way associated with incels. Furthermore, with regards to any actual incels listed on this wiki, inceldom is a life circumstance, not an insult or a movement/community.

Bella Freeman (real name undisclosed for privacy’s sake), was a lesbocel admin of the IncelSupport forum from 2005-2008. She was accompanied by two other admins and two moderators. She first joined at the end of 2002.

In recent years, she has believed incels should be considered as their own gender, partially to encourage visibility and break stigma associated with incel: goals she always considered important as a lesbian.

Beliefs[edit]

She believes many incels could suffer from a disenfranchised, ongoing, cyclic type of grief called “chronic sorrow” which usually relates to disabilities and health conditions, as the loss of hoped-for or anticipated sexuality has many parallels. After experiencing the internalized self-hatred most original incels developed from trying to become desirable partners, she would rather incels accept their incelibacy, managing their sexual frustration as a type of grief trigger.

Oust and server crash[edit]

Bella's attitude about shunning self-improvement, or what she calls, “conversion therapy”, to get over inceldom didn’t sit well with the Incelsupport community, and she was ousted from it end of 2008. This was around the time another admin secretly decided not to maintain the server, because they were hoping the forum would close. Bella still got to read most parts of the new forum until the server crashed and the forum dissolved in 2013.

Personal life[edit]

At some point, an ex-partner sexually assaulted Bella and Bella was told by her assaulter to not report it or else she’d falsely accuse Bella of rape.[1] Eventually Bella was indeed falsely accused of rape. Her feminist friends then shunned her because of the false rape allegation against her. Bella then lost faith in feminism. Not long after, she started doing stand-up-comedy.

She considers herself a, “relationship anarchist”, meaning she doesn’t care much about mate-guarding.

However she describes her relationship anarchy as mostly involuntary as previous attempts she made at monogamy failed due to partners cheating on her. And because of her lack of sex, she now considers normal interactions with sexually attractive people to be, "sex".[2]

She is self-described obese and with debilitating medical conditions, however she says weight or lack thereof never helped her date. She engages in community service to prove to others she is worth something.

Quora[edit]

She currently independently represents the original incels on the public forum called, “Quora”, and claims the term was “hijacked” by others. Incelsupport never tolerated misogynistic behaviour.

Quotes[edit]

[Incel is] not a movement; we have never protested or made any request for rights — or anything like that. We do not much resemble the stereotypes and tropes many feminist groups like to use against us.
—Bella
[Inceldom has] likely some biological cause. Therefore, I think we should be viewed as a type of gender. [...] It’s worth remembering that Adolf Hitler had a partner. So did many well known serial killers and rapists. They were not dangerous because of sexual frustration or an inability to fit in. They were simply evil people.
—Bella
Alana should feel no guilt whatsoever about Elliot Rodger. During the time when he was supposed to have been a member of the board, I don’t believe he ever posted or made himself known to other members, and I don't think his membership lasted very long. Only propaganda (and widespread fear of those who 'don’t have normal relationships' ) made Rodger a convenient scapegoat to continue to marginalise incels, who are often capable, decent human beings in every other way.
