Type: Forum
Admin: SergeantIncel
Writers: teenagers and young adult men
State: active
URL: (formerly,, and /r/incels) is a mostly alt-right-ish,[1][2] public grievance area[note 1] for revcons,[note 2] social darwinians, and autistic right-wing-libertarians who are upset with celibacy and non-masculine men.

The forum was unique because of users that would try to passively goad each other into committing mass murder, often behind a veil of irony.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][note 3]

Since one of the admins involved himself with the self-described, “anti-extremist group”: Light Upon Light, the violent posts (but not necessarily the toxicity, radical defeatism, male bullying, or extreme traditionalist politics) seems to have toned way down on the forum (as far as frequency).

A significant amount of users have promoted rape,[12] and/or publicly expressed a desire to legalize rape.[13]

19% of respondents on a thread on proposed legalized rape as the solution to inceldom in a thread, 17% supported male genocide, and 41% supported re-instituting patriarchy in a May 2018 thread[14]

Lack of good faith attempt to remove posts advocating violent crime[edit] had it’s first domain named,, stripped from them by the .me domain registry, due to a lack of a good faith attempt by the admins to remove advocacy of violent crime, (they seem to have no issue in swiftly removing posts involving non-violent SJWism though) according to the domain registry itself.[15]

Upon inspecting forum for policy violations on October 15th, the .ME Registry determined that the content that encouraged acts of violence and hate speech still appeared on the forum. Having witnessed this disregard of not only .ME Registry’s policies and suspension warnings, but also of forum’s policies the domain registrant formulated themselves, the .ME Registry suspended the domain and decided that it would remain suspended
—.me domain registrar[16] responded with a press release afterward stating they had tried their best to remove such posts.’ predecessor forum, /r/incels,[17] on Reddit was reported by the New York Times to advocate violence with the purpose of incitement.[18]

Reddit has banned […] men who blame women for their involuntary celibacy and sometimes advocate rape, [/r/incels] as part of a new crackdown on forums that glorify and incite violence.
—New York Times

Not so surprisingly, academic outlets have also identified, specifically, as a concerning source of online radicalization.[19][20]

Other activities[edit]

Unlike most non-niche incel forums, historical and modern, bans all women and LGBTQ people.

An owner of, Sergeantincel has implied intervening on mildly suicidal people on his incel forum on the basis of concern for human life, but has seemingly refused to say he will do the same on his pro-suicide forum, which is of course discriminatorily and strangely hypocritical.[21][22] Sanctionedsuicide has been criticized widely in the media for unnecessary suicides for years.[23][24][25] used to be, but the latter doesn’t resolve anymore, allegedly because Epik dropped them in February 2021 over having minors on the site.[26][27][28]

“Sergeantincel”, as of 2021 continues to own and operate a wiki ( which details methods of suicide for it’s (mostly not old) users.[29][30][31]

Common themes of the forum as of 2020[edit]

  • “Worshipping” the serial killer Elliot Rodger
  • Making fun of non-masculine looking men
  • Banning all women and admitted LGBTQ people for seemingly no good reason
  • Telling each other to kill themselves
  • Telling each other to go on spree killings (as cited in the lede)
  • Denying the existence of women with vaginismus, medical conditions etc, while allowing male standardcels in their chat as long as they are “blackpillers

Media coverage[edit]

The media has occasionally been criticized for directing people to extremist incel forums by drawing more attention to them.[32] However, for most journalists, the forum provided a lot of material with which to drive a small amount of internet obsessives crazy with false notions of impending societal collapse.

Correlated individuals[edit]

Anwar Said Driouich[edit]

A man in the UK named Anwar Said Driouich, upset about his lack of success with women, was caught making bombs by UK police. It was found through his computer that a day before his arrest he had accessed and read a thread entitled “Could be another ER coming up soon”, this was understood to have been a reference to Rodgers’ attack.[33]

Tres Genco[edit]

A man named Tres Genco was arrested for allegedly planning to shoot up women in a sorority. A DOJ report said that Tres was aiming to kill 3,000 people and wanted to attend military training.[34]

Users of publicly connected the identity of Tres Genco to a former user of named “Oedipus”, whose language in an old post on this thread matches a unnamed forum quote in the DOJ report of Tres Genco here.

FaceandLMS is one of the most popular blackpill Youtubers, and a well known former poster on His philosophy about looks generally aligns with the forum philosophy, and thus is very popular among forum members.

First Female Poster[edit]

A newer ad for the forum

On February 22nd, 2018, a user by the name of Chewbacca posted a ban request in the inceldom discussion thread. In it, Chewbacca stated that she was female this whole time and got away with posting. Her picture, which was shown, fooled many people into thinking she was an ugly man.

Nausea Cagethread[edit]

User Nausea used to post exclusively on a single thread in the Offtopic section of the site, due to his broken English and spam-like threads earning him many warnings otherwise. The thread was called affectionately by users “Nausea Cagethread”.

Ban Appeals[edit]

The Ban Appeal section of the site is enjoyed by many users as a source of drama or curious encounters between recently banned users and moderators. The mod who issued the last warning which triggered a permanent ban is the one who has the call on whether to give a second chance to the user in question or not. There is a megathread in the Meta section where regular users can discuss the ban of others.

Numerous cliques have formed on in the past including Ritalin Defense Force.

On June 14th, 2018, user Heightframeface exposed another user, whogivesafucc, as a larper. User whogivesafucc stated he had “gay(once) and straight sex” at the age of 12-13, and had lost his virginity at 14. Many people became angry at this fact and started to complain and raise their suspicion on other Novembercels, as well as other incels. Later in the thread, another user, Blackletcel, was also exposed as a 5'10.5 light complexed, dyed blond hair Tyrone(or chad of African heritage) who was on a dry streak for 2 years. Before his dry streak, he recalls having a “woman on my[his] dick” (English: woman perform oral sex on him). He also stated he was a volcel because of his rejection of dark skinned african women.

Media Barrage of 2018[edit]

After the Alek Minassian van attack in Toronto, the mainstream media went on a campaign against incel forums, and specifically against Despite the fact that Alek Minassian only referenced 4chan, there is no evidence he used, and the admins have stated that to their knowledge he did not use the site.

Because of the media campaign, the number of active users on the site went from 20-30 people[35] to hundreds of people.

Alleged DDOSing[edit]

In 2020, the admin of, Vcelguy, had accused (now of illegally DDOSing their forum.[36] also placed layer 7 DDOS CAPTCHA protection on and off on his forum for years.

Later, Alexander’s forum expressed discontent with material being linked from similarly minded members of masculinist splinter forums, which “Serge” probably hopes will be painted as more radical than his, when they are ideologically the same as Members of and even his own forum members began accusing Serge of duplicity in his on/off forum actions, and said this through countless forum threads in mid-2021. This continued for almost three days, until someone linked a rival, but similar, site,, multiple times on his site during the height of the drama. After Sergeantincel and others on expressed great dissatisfaction with the unfolding events,, a primary competitor was hit with a massive, illegal Layer 7 DDOS which they solved with forcing CAPTCHAs on the forum.[37] Members of the forum thought Sergeantincel or others high up in were directly involved in DDOSs attack on in 2020 and 2021,[38][39] and signaled they saved the logs however, direct evidence at that point was still mostly circumstantial.

Regardless, Sergeantincel never pushed back against the series of DDOS attacks if it was not him, not lending much credence to his free speech posturing, never mind the fact he bans leftists, all sexually successful people who make it known, women, and any group that would provide counter-narratives to defeatism in his forum.

  1. It’s technically a forum but the replies are so short and low quality it is essentially a chatroom full of “post-maxxers” and teenagers. The forum is disproportionately occupied by violently-minded traditional conservatives, neo-nazis, wignats, racists of all ethnicities, misogynists, and extreme cluster-B personality types.
  2. Revcon means revolutionary conservative
  3. Users told each other to commit mass murder, as of 2018-2020, by using the phrase, “Go ER”, over and over. “Go ER”, references Elliot Rodger, and those who posted it intended it to mean "be like the serial killer Elliot Rodger and shoot random people out of anger"
